My life would make a great movie

As you go through life, you can either choose to be defined by your experiences or you can choose to define how you will react. Laughter is a very powerful reaction, and the emotions of joy that go with it help to elevate your "vibration." I thoroughly enjoy my life and love all that I do and all that I have, and I eagerly look forward to every day I have to experience it.

Besides, some of the stuff that has happened is just plain funny!

This summer, I'll be enjoying it all!

"Fresh cut grass" - Aaron

Certain foods just define summer: anything BBQ'd, margaritas, watermelon, corn on the cob, tomatoes fresh off the vine, snow cones, ice cream from the dairy mart...

Looking at that list, I am reminded that all of those things are staples of my summertime childhood. Well, with the obvious exception of the margaritas! This got me thinking about other things that are summer mainstays. So I started a new list: cool evenings sitting outside watching the stars, staying out till dark and then finding out it's after 9:00, looking out the window and seeing the surrounding green-ness of the landscape, the smell of fresh cut grass, kids running and playing, planting a garden... What's on your list?

Emotion and the Law of Attraction

You don't attract what you want, you attract what you are. If there is something that you really want, you have to BE as if you already have it. Then you take any actions required to work toward it, and ultimately you will have it.

Okay, so that's what they tell us. But, how in the world am I supposed to act like I already have it when I KNOW that I don't? Visualize having it and then experience the emotion. The emotions we have are indicators not only of how we are feeling, but how intensely we are reacting to something. The more intense the emotion, the more we are involved. So, focus. Meditate. Visualize. Find the feelings that you will have when you acquire the item. Capture the image to use throughout the day, and re-experience the emotions as often as possible. BE as if you already have the item.

I can't travel without my husband

my husband
I haven't found an acceptable replacement for him at even the finest hotels!

Rembrandt Extra Gentle Toothpaste
If I use anything else for even two days, BAM I get a canker sore!

Leave a party if you see Lack of stimulating conversation

Lack of stimulating conversation
Isn't the point of a party to have someone else to talk to...?

More than on ex-boyfriend in the room.
Way too much explaining and awkward introductions.

Just Feel A Little Bit Better

So, I am totally into reading anything by Esther and Jerry Hicks these days. I think I am finally really getting the best way to put the Law of Attraction to use in my life. Often when I read about the Law of Attraction, it seems like you have to somehow be able to totally feel like you have everything you want already. To BE the person you wish to BECOME. This can be difficult, because your "monkey chatter" just reminds you that you don't HAVE this or that yet. Esther/Abraham finally got me to understand that I don't have to jump all the way up the scale in one fell swoop. I just have to continue to choose a better feeling than I am feeling right now and that will point me in the direction I wish to go. BRILLIANT!! And then, you can choose an even better feeling and so on, until little by little you reach the feeling of having what you wish for. What a relief to know that I don't have to make the leap all at once to begin to see results moving toward me!! I am in such gratitude for Esther & Jerry Hicks (and, of course, Abraham).
