Where do I get my news? I avoid the news at all costs!

I do my best to stay away from the news. I am a student of personal development, so I choose to fill my mind with only positive information...clearly, there is none of that on the news! I get the weather report on the internet and my mom (the CNN junkie) makes sure that I know anything else that I need to know (in her opinion, not mine).

Bizarre Midwest Weather!

So, yesterday the high was 65 and today we will be lucky to hit 35! I guess spring has not quite sprung here in Nebraska. The kids are so anxious to be able to get outside and run and play. We are looking forward to planting a garden and doing some landscaping. Joe hits the big 4-0 tomorrow! Our business (www.trustthedream.com) continues to grow and prosper. We are thankful for all the blessings in our life.

Welcome everyone to my new blog! I am new to blogging, but I hear all the cool kids are doing it! My husband and I have our own business working from home. We live on 10 acres in the beautiful Nebraska countryside. We have two little ones, Delaney (3 1/2) and Riley (19 mos). We also have the pleasure of having my mother and my grandmother (97 1/2) living in an addition to our home. It is a blessing to have my kids get to grow up surrounded by three older generations! We also share our home with 2 big mutts and a number of cats. I look forward to sharing whatever thoughts, anecdotes, and stories that I feel "shareable" with all of my friends in cyberspace.
